When she was a wee little Pinky, she chose the viola over the violin. She will always be a violist at heart, but loves her Stroh Violin and lots of other odd instruments, too.
She sings and plays music ranging from cabaret rock to Texas swing to gypsy punk, and has been fortunate to work with some incredibly talented musicians along the way. She has played with indie rock luminaries such as Moby, Belle and Sebastian, The Magnetic Fields, The Hold Steady, and Nathan Larson (Shudder to Think), and has been featured on labels such as Sony and Nonesuch with folks like Crash Test Dummies, The Living End. She is currently on tour with the Tony-award winning rock musical Spring Awakening.
